Question:would these work on children's nails?

Answer: They would certainly work on children's nails. They are regular size though. Fine for bigger children but personally if t were an infant or toddler, I would use baby ones.

Question: How many inches are the bigger clippers?

Answer: the cutting surface is 0.5"the entire length is 4". The small ones have a cutting surface of 3/8"and length of 3.25".

Answer: I have no idea. But I am happy with the set. I also like the pouch it comes in.l because it keeps the clippers together.

Answer:I don’t know which reviews you are talking about but I’m really happy with mine. They are very easy to use and cut my nails nicely. I haven’t had any issues with them. Sorry yours didn’t work out
